Default Character Ideas = Better guild hall

1.Hahaha, would it be cool to introduce FOOD in the game? So it would be like real medeval time where the fat people are the wealthy (lots of money) and skinny are the poor (broke).

2.How about the ability to give your character rest? Its quite funny how we run around 24/7, I do wonder if the knights in shinning armor durning the medival time went to bed while knowing the enemy could attack anytime soon.

3.How about the ability to exercise your character, by running through hordes of monsters, slash n bashing through monsters.

I just came with those ideas, because it leads to an idea of creating a BETTER GUILD hall then just 4 hench, tons of space and guild battle. I think a guild hall needs to bring in guild members for other reasons then going for guild battle, I feel that most guilds dont have good enough communication with its newer members, and guild hall could provide that. Also I think Guild Halls should allow other people to come in, IF guild leader clicks on a button or something that allows them and people can scroll down to check out other guilds. Ok then heres what I think
1. Guild halls should have some kind of market, like having a buffet, or a merchant there that sells people items the guild officer or leader gives him, to other people, or people within the guild.
2. I think Guild Halls should have hotel of some sort inside them and depending on what type they are could depend on type of hotel, like ice cave, with beds that have YOUR name on it, the name changes when someone is CURRENTLY using different name/character, but goes to main character when person is offline.
3. Guild Hall should have some competition for members, I sometimes here members in my guild say, "bah nothing to do, this guild is boring im going to try another guild", its not like you can play with that person 24/7 when he is on, you want your own time. But if you have some kind of competition like "who can deal most damage", "who is the run the farthest through monsters", "who can survive the longest", "who can kill the most monsters", like those, were it can be cooperative, or solo, something to do in the guild hall.

All I ask for is, more things to do in guild hall! Thats all I want!
I have a Warrior isle guild hall, I think that middle part of it can be turned into something, I want to see OUR CAPE design on flag post, I want to do something inside those buildings, like put a merchant there for others to buy, like guild members. Or better yet, give POINTS to guild members and put a certain amount of points on an item, and if a guild member recieves so many points from leader, (possibly officer) they can have the item. Also another thing in the warrior isle guild, I think each guild hall should experience some kind of sabatoge, like attack from pirates (unworthy), not a big attack, but maybe like 2 rangers, and sometimes big as 6 (unworthy), but it tells you on guild status PIRATE ATTACK June 15th 4:30 PM.

I have to agree with you, the guild hall is a boring place I would like to see a bed with my name on it, or even better one of the houses that i could use to store stuff and a guild vendor would be nice. there should be attacks upon your hall, wasn't that part of the premise of the game? And flags and pennants with your guild emblem, tapestries dipicting events as well...

Truthfully, I often wonder if the guildhall is even worth the extra cash? Aside from being a status symbol for my guild I think we have only used it twice! I think the suggestions posted above would be great to see. Maybe even a message board in the hall that anyone could post on would be nice. I often want to leave a message for my guildmates but dont feel it's important enough to warrent a Guild-wide message.

I agree with you... I also think that you should be able to have HUGE feasts with members and everyone with their own individual seats. The leader with their own throne
You're idea about competition is brilliant. Like the Ancient Olympic games or funeral games for fallen heroes.

This is a matter very close to my heart, as I have often been thinking along the same lines. I'm very proud of the hall that I and the other founding fathers of the Psychobunnies scrimped up to buy (we own a nice little place up in the Shiverpeaks), but have often been disappointed by the lack of customisation.
A dorm with beds, a dining hall with 'real' food and a gladiator arena for members all sound like fantastic ideas.
If everyone had their own little space in a dorm they could decorate it as they liked with trinkets bought from merchants and trophies brought back from quests. We all know how much people are willing to spend on individuality! The guild leader would, of course, have a large seperate bedroom...
A dining hall dynamic would work well for providing some visual distration while players mingled and chatted. Once again, the guild leader could purchase the furniture and decor for this room. The more individual a guild's image, the more pride the members would have. So far we've been reduced to simulting this effect by gathering around the fire with me dishing out Xmas eggnogg to members.
A gladiatorial arena would be fantastic for the purposes of training guild members. Not only could a member choose his opponent in a 1 on 1, 2 on 2 etc battle, but other members could watch the fracas from seating provided, shouting advice or encouragement. Another way to get members together ^_^

By the way, ambassadors from other guilds CAN be invited to see your hall if you invite them as a 'guest' and not a 'member'. Once again, though, it would be great to show off your guild's standing by taking them for a meal in the dining room...
